The Lemon essential oil extracted from the peel of fresh Lemons through steam distillation. During distillation, the lemon peel is exposed to steam and releases essential oils into the vapor phase. As the steam and essential oil vapors are condensed, they are collected and separated into water and oil phases.
The lemon (Citrus/limon) is a species of small evergreen tree in the flowering plant family Rutaceae, native to Asia, primarily Northeast India, Northern Myanmar and China.

How to use
How to use
WELLNESS:
In order to use lemon oil in aromatherapy, apply a few drops into a diffuser. Enjoy in an open and well-ventilated space, and keep sessions to a half-hour in order to maximize benefits.
Clean your home with lemon essential oil by adding 2-6 drops to a spray bottle filled with water. It also acts as mosquito repellent.
SKIN: A good thumb rule is to mix Three drops of Lemon essential oil with 1 tsp (5 ml) of a carrier oil like vegetable or nut oil. This creates a 3% solution of essential oil that is safe for the skin.
HAIR: Always dilute Lemon oil before applying it to your hair. Mix it with a carrier oil, like Castor oil, Almond oil, or Sesame oil, before applying it to your hair. You can also add few drops to your favourite shampoos and conditioners.
MASSAGE: You can make a simple massage oil by diluting 4-6 drops of Lemon Oil in 2 teaspoons of a preferred carrier oil. Rub this quick and easy blend into feet, muscles, or any preferred area of the body for an aromatically energizing experience.
BATH: As lemon oil works as a natural relaxant, you may want to run a warm bath and add in 4 to 6 drops of lemon oil. Then relax in the bath for at least 10 minutes to allow the aroma to work.
